How it all works

Dream it

Introductions

You complete contact form and Jordan & Sarah will review and reply to it. If things look good, we’ll move on to an in-home consultation.

In-home consultation

Jordan will meet with you directly to discuss your project details, design plans, and any budget questions.

Project cost & timeline estimation

We’ll provide an estimate and timeline proposal, which may have multiple milestones depending on project size and complexity.

Contract & scheduling

Signing the contract & penciling in a target date to begin work. Depending on the project size, a security deposit or down-payment retainer may also be required at this time.

Build it

Design decisions

With a signed contract and target dates established, you’ll have an opportunity to get down to specifics with design details such as materials, fixtures, colors, etc. Jordan will be there along the way and can work with your architect and/or designer on the particulars.

Permitting

If permits were identified as a need in the contract, they’ll be submitted at this time based on the project scope and design decisions made thus far.

Construction prep

We’ll work with you on ensuring things are ready to go before we and our team arrive. We’ll prepare our workspace for minimal disruption to your home.

Work underway

Jordan is hands-on with the work and coordinates with his sub-contractor team in person. You’ll have the opportunity to review and ask questions about the work as it’s happening and can make the call on any change requests that may come up.

Live it

Change requests

Unforeseen details or changes in preferences may require change requests throughout the project. Sometimes, these can be offset with other changes or may require your approval to update the plan. Approving the change order identifies what is being changed so work can continue.

Wrapping up work

Jordan works with you on any final details of a project and any remaining items identified in the project. You’ll have an opportunity for a complete walk-through.

Project completion

With derbies removed and the site of the work cleaned, your project is considered finished. You’ll be provided with a final summary of the project along with any additional documents such as maintenance guides and manuals.

Our promise

Bell Homebuilders stands by its work and will check in periodically to make sure there are no issues or to advise on recommended maintenance if necessary.
